This fun little romp can be summed up with one statement; Skaar fights the heavy weights of the Marvel universe. Now there is more to it than that, but really all the fun in this trade is watching Skaar beat up on the likes of Wolverine, Daken, The Juggernaut and a host of the Mole Man’s monsters from the depths of the earth. Well, I guess there’s a little more to it than that.
The actual reason behind all these “throw downs” is to prepare Skaar for the big showdown with his dear old dad; The Hulk himself. But who is chaperoning this huge, green behemoth? None other than Bruce Banner himself, who at the current time is unable to transform into his alter ego. One part cheerleader and one part coach, Banner has taken it upon himself, at great risk, to get Skaar ready.
And that is, in a nut shell what this book is all about. Just a lead in to what, no doubt will be a battle of the ages. Filled with loads of action with some great bits of humor sprinkled through out. What else could you ask for?
